Rio Tinto Echo 2 is located at the Perth Airport and will house Rio Tinto’s administration staff.
The 3 storey office building within the airport facility grounds houses Rio Tinto’s remote operations staff. The office will be built to a 5 Star Green Star rating and is designed to connect into the existing Rio Tinto Echo 1 building on each of the 3 levels and the underground basement.
Works carried out include the following:
- 650K litre chilled water storage tank
- Full Building Management System
- VAV system across floors
- High efficiency Powerpax chiller
- Underground HPPE chilled water pipework
