MPM have commenced construction works on 480 Hay Street, which will house the 26 storey Westin Hotel, Perth. This project is a design and construct project which MPM have had early contractor involvement commencing during the bid process and involving complete design review and delivery in consultation with BPI’s design team.

MPM were integrated into the BPI design team and worked collaboratively to develop a detailed design and model that; complied with the Client and operator brief, met BCA and associated Australian Standards, met ESD requirements both NABERS and LEED, co-ordinated with the structure, architectural design and services design, met safety in design imperatives, incorporated modular off site construction, met program, met cost targets and was operationally efficient.

MPM successfully delivered these outcomes and was awarded the construction component. Our project team has assumed the responsibility of Lead Coordinator and as such has ensured that all design drawings and the design BIM model is successfully translated to be fully coordinated for construction documentation.

This project is expected to be completed in March 2018.
